Hi Anne, I just happened across your website and it is such a thrill. I think we met a number of years ago at a Geelong Forum

I will keep a look out for your book as it sounds exactly what I will need for my ‘future weaving’. I have a little money jar called Loom Money and one day soon I’ll be looking for some instruction! I have two little kids so I’m not sure they will go so well at guild meetings.

I’m glad to hear you are getting set up again after the earthquake. Such a rotten thing to have happen.

Geologically, NE Tennessee is a stable environment. Previously we’ve lived in other stable regions of the USA. I can hardly imagine your situation in NZ. In the Texas Gulf Coast we worried about hurricanes but not the extent you have had or the surprise. Some planning was possible.

Dear Ann
I spent some time with you about 4 years ago. You taught me the basics of weaving in the Art Centre studio.
We are back in the UK, but speak to friends in Christchurch quite often, especially since the earthquakes.
How are you ? Where is your new studio? Did your house survive the quakes?
I have my own loom now. An eight shaft countermarch. It is great. I have just finished some cotton/linen tee towels and am planning my next project.
