Hi everyone,

Well, at long last I can announce that my Devore book is out. It arrived from the publisher last Wednesday. Trafalgar have published it in the States so it will be available from Unicorn, or it can be ordered from the book order form on this web site. It has been delayed for about 2 years so I was wondering if it would ever see the light of day.

I have changed publishers. My old publisher went into receivership last May, so that hasn't helped. The new publisher is David Bateman Ltd, based in Auckland and they are very enthusiastic about my next books. The Spinning Wool Beyond the Basics new edition will be out in Sept/Oct of this year. and I will begin working on the up dated version of my Ashford Book of Spinning when I get back from the States at the end of May. I talked to Ashford's last week and we are making big changes to this book, the 10th edition, will you believe. The first edition came out 20 years ago.

If you want to know about my workshops in the States, just e mail me and I can give you details. I begin teaching in San Fransisco and then move up to Puyallup, Whidbey Island, Snohomish, a brief visit to Victoria, then finish in Vancouver, Canada. I am really looking forward to this trip. Next year's trip is also being arranged now so I have to make sure I don't get confused about which year I am in.

I will be away from New Zealand from 11th April to the 25th May.
